About me

Dr Isobelle Biggin is a Specialist Clinical Psychologist based in Bristol. She is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
Isobelle is experienced in working with children, young people, adults and older adults and currently works for the NHS with patients across the life span with long-term, complex health and sensory conditions. Prior to this she worked in an Adult Neuropsychology service and is experienced in working with a range of difficulties such as low mood, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger management difficulties, eating difficulties, neurological difficulties, bereavement and behaviour that challenges.
Providing a safe space in which to explore a person’s difficulties allows Isobelle to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. She works collaboratively with the individual and families, to understand the presenting difficulties and intervene appropriately and effectively. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Systemic therapy and mindfulness, which allow her to offer an individualised approach to each client.
