About me

Dr Akila Danga is a Consultant Haematologist at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation trust with specialist interest in Haemato-Oncology, Principal Investigator in the latest Clinical Trials and key in the running of the busy medical haematology day unit.

Having graduated from Imperial College London in 2008 with a Distinction in Clinical Practice and an intercalated Batchelor of Sciences with 1st Class Honours, she completed her postgraduated medical training in London and Specialist Haematology training on the Imperial College London programme achieving her FRCPath accreditation in 2018.

Dr Danga is an enthusiastic and caring consultant specialising in the treatment of lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukaemia, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative disorders. She also runs clinics in the management of anaemia, immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, iron overload and deficiency, transfusion, thrombosis and bleeding, providing excellent clinical care to patients with Haematological disorders.
