About us
I am an HCPC and BPS registered Chartered Counselling Psychologist with a unique professional trajectory. Prior to my clinical career, I spent 13 years within the financial services industry at firms including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and UBS. This background allows me to bring a mature and pragmatic perspective to my practice - understanding first hand the high pressure environments my clients navigate.
Clinical Expertise & Approach
Since transitioning to psychology in 2011, I have worked predominantly in the private sector. My doctoral training enables me to offer high-impact, evidence-based interventions including CBT, psychodynamic, and existential therapies. I do not view clients as a collection of symptoms instead, I provide a relational, down-to-earth space designed to help high-performing individuals manage substance use, stress, anxiety, depression and trauma.
At Sona Psychology, I specialise in navigating the complexities of life, specifically focusing on
- Masculinity & Men's Mental Health, I have a particular interest in working with men who may feel hesitant or cautious about therapy. I am ideally placed to provide a direct and confidential partnership.
- Corporate Resilience, I help employees manage burnout, professional identity, imposter syndrome and work-life boundaries.
- Relational Dynamics, meaning how we interact with the world and manage demanding professional and personal relationships.
-Addictive behaviours, be that alcohol, drugs, sex including chems, gambling and porn.
Consultancy & Brief Interventions
Beyond my private practice, I serve as a consultant psychologist to global corporations in banking, insurance, and media. I offer brief, focused psychological interventions for senior leadership and teams, geared toward sustainable behavioural change and mental clarity.
Whether you are seeking long-term existential exploration or short-term strategies to manage work-related pressures, I offer a space that is professional, safe, and entirely non-judgmental. My goal is to help you understand yourself and your limitations while achieving the changes you seek at a pace that respects you.
