About me
Mr Fagg is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in adult shoulder and elbow surgery as well as all aspects of children’s orthopaedic surgery.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Leicester before completing his basic surgical training in South Yorkshire. He then received orthopaedic registrar training in two of the most respected regions of the country, South Yorkshire and the Severn region.
He obtained a very broad and deep grounding in all aspects of orthopaedics at hospitals such as the Northern General Hospital, Southmead Hospital, the Great Western Hospital and the Royal United Hospital in Bath. In addition, he trained at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital and the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. He was awarded the Arthur Edward Burton Memorial Prize, received for obtaining the highest mark in the country in the orthopaedic fellowship exam (part one).
In 2019/2020 Mr Fagg and his family travelled to New Zealand where he received further specialist training in sports surgery at the internationally acclaimed UniSports Sports Clinic, and in paediatric orthopaedic surgery at New Zealand’s only specialist children’s hospital, the Starship Hospital.
Outside of work Mr Fagg dedicates his time to his family, including his wife, who is a rheumatologist, and his two young daughters.
Mr Fagg is committed to providing exceptional and personalised care; he has a special interest in childhood and adolescent sports injuries and all aspects of shoulder surgery across all age ranges, including keyhole and joint replacement surgery.
