Dr. Mittal began his pain management journey at Harvard Medical School, studying chronic pain management at a leading hospital. He completed anaesthesia and chronic pain training at the East Midlands School of Anaesthesia in the UK and later served as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Chronic Pain for Health New Zealand.
With 23 years of medical experience, including work as a chronic pain consultant since 2019, Dr. Mittal stays updated on the latest advancements in pain management. He teaches chronic pain procedures at platforms like NYSORA, Euro Pain Clinics, and AAGBI and hold a fellowship in chronic pain, along with diplomas in Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia.
Dr. Mittal has special interests in ultrasound-guided treatments for chronic abdominal and facial pain, peripheral neuropathic conditions, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, and Prolotherapy. He believes in a holistic approach to care, collaborating with physiotherapists and psychologists at Meriden Hospital to create personalised pain management pathways.
Believing that a healthy lifestyle is vital in chronic pain management, Dr. Mittal actively participates in badminton and cricket and enjoys cooking for his family. They are committed to supporting individuals on their pain management journeys and enhancing their overall well-being.
