About me

Phil is a Consultant in Sports & Exercise Medicine. He holds an NHS post at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry assessing and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal problems.
Phil also works in elite sport as the lead doctor for Manchester City Women's football club, multisport physician for the English Institute of Sport and team doctor for EF Pro Cycling team.
He enjoys using his training and experience to help people stay active whatever their level or goals. He understands how important this is to individuals wellbeing.
Phil is trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound and uses this during his clinic to help make accurate diagnoses and if indicated perform therapeutic injections.
As well as being trained in Sport, Exercise & Musculoskeletal medicine he is a trained GP and has completed postgraduate training in internal medicine.
