About me
Dr Adele Phillips is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience of working with individuals, couples and families in a variety of NHS and independent settings. She has particular interests in working with individuals who are experiencing psychological difficulties associated with significant distressing life events, trauma and loss. Adele also specialises in working with new and expectant parents who may be struggling with their mental health as a result of their journey to parenthood, such as feelings of low mood, anxiety or bonding difficulties. Adele is passionate about supporting people to make sense of their difficulties and to find strength and courage to make change. Adele aims to provide a safe space for people to explore and reflect on their experiences, grounded in compassion and guided by each individual and their needs. Adele draws on a number of psychological approaches within her therapeutic work, including but not limited to Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing within her therapeutic work.
