About me

I am Consultant Gynaecologist and obstetrician and MENOPAUSE SPECIALIST, practicing in Airedale Hospital, having qualified from Bangalore Medical College, India.

I have been practicing medicine in the UK since 2003 and I have gained expertise from excellent postgraduate training from some of the leading centres in the UK.

I am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologist since 2010. I have been a consultant since 2016, initially in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire and later moving to Yorkshire in 2018 having fallen in love with the region.

I have a broad gynaecological practice and have the experience and expertise to treat menstrual problems, fibroids, ovarian cysts, PMS, and early pregnancy issues. I specialise in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Menopause - having undertaken Advanced training in Menopause care. I have specialist training in Benign Gynaecological surgery – Abdominal, Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy.

I endeavour to provide high quality care and ensure that all my patients have the time required to discuss and address their concerns and options.

Away from work, I like spending time with my family and enjoy going on walks in the Yorkshire countryside and beyond. I keep fit by spending time in my local gym. Being an Indian, cricket is my first love. I like reading and am fascinated by different viewpoints of the same historical events. I actively contribute to charities in the UK and in India.
