About me
I am a registered and accredited member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) with over 25 years’ experience of helping clients experiencing difficulty and distress both in the NHS and in private practice.
I work with a wide range of difficulties including short-term as well as long-term, deeply rooted problems. Things happen that can leave us feeling fearful or depressed; relationships can be a source of stress and painful emotions; we experience feelings of fear, loneliness, anxiety and anger. The people around us are often not able to help and may even be part of the problem.
It’s not easy to ask for help - I understand that. It’s important that you find the right person and someone you feel that you can work with. That will help you get the most benefit from your therapy.
I bring together different approaches in my work incorporating humanistic, psychodynamic, analytic, behavioural, cognitive and transpersonal models to give a holistic approach to working with each individual person.
