About me

I am a warm and compassionate Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience of working in mental health services. I provide psychological therapy that draws on the latest evidence and is tailored to your current needs and presenting difficulties.

You are likely to be doing more to help yourself than you are giving yourself credit for, and the focus of our work together would be about strengthening this foundation whilst helping you to step out of less supportive patterns and experimenting with new ways of being.

I have accreditation in CBT with the BABCP and am experienced in using specialist CBT, the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA) and a schema therapy model.

Areas of interest

I can work with anyone aged 17 years and older and I will work with you to help you make sense of the difficulties and distress you might be feeling and to make positive changes that will help you reconnect with who you are, what matters to you and find more hopeful ways forward.

I can work with a wide range of presenting difficulties, but I specialise in work that supports the treatment of people with all kinds of eating disordered presentations and difficulties; Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, OSFED and BED. Or individuals who might have leant into eating as a way to cope with other life difficulties and distressing experiences and would like help to find supportive ways forward.
