About me

Mr. Vimo Arumuham is a Consultant Urologist based at The Prostate Centre, 18 Devonshire Street, Central London. He has a special interest in urinary stone disease and endourology, including prostate and bladder conditions, with a particular focus on urological cancers.

Mr. Arumuham completed his registrar training in North Central London, with his final year spent at the Stone and Endourology Unit at University College London Hospital (UCLH). This experience laid the foundation for his specialisation, honed his surgical skills, and earned him recognition for his abilities, including the Institute of Urology's Markowitz Prize for his significant contributions. He has also undertaken two international urological fellowships in Shanghai, China, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, and was awarded the prestigious Urology Foundation Scholarship from the British Association of Urological Surgeons.

His NHS practice is at the internationally renowned Urology Department at University College London Hospital, where he serves as the Associate Clinical Lead for Benign Urology. Alongside his clinical work, Mr. Arumuham is passionate about healthcare management and holds a Global MBA and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Leadership, striving to improve patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiency. His combination of medical expertise and strategic insight enables him to approach healthcare delivery holistically.

Demonstrating his commitment to advancing urology and solidifying his status as a thought leader, Mr Arumuham has authored numerous scientific papers, presented his research at international conferences, and is frequently invited as an expert to lecture and teach at global workshops. He adopts a holistic, multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with other specialists to provide bespoke and comprehensive care.
