I am an experienced MBACP Accredited Counsellor since 2002 with substantive experience of practice within higher educational settings with both students and staff.This has included practice within an international population of a diverse cultural background which I have enjoyed.
I also have significant experience of working in primary care settings across a range of gp practices with a range of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, separation, bereavement, loss, sexual identity,stress, suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviour,health issues,etc.I have also practised within the NHS as a staff counsellor and a senior counsellor within an independent sector organisation.
I also have practised within a specialist service for women impacted by domestic violence and practice both privately and independently for employee assistance schemes and working with couples and young people.
