About me
I am a consultant anaesthetist and the chair of resuscitation Committee at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. I completed my anaesthesia training at Health Education England( East Midlands) and achieved my CCT in anaesthesia. I have completed a fellowship in regional anaesthesia at Nottingham University Hospitals where I became an expert and performing and teaching Ultrasound‐guided Regional Anesthesia. I have also completed a Paediatric, Obstetrics and Cardiac Anaesthesia Fellowships at Manchester University Hospitals. I achieved a Master's degree in 2007, the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care(EDAIC) in 2012 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetist(RCOA) in 2016. I have presented at several regional, national, and international meetings and I am a regular faculty in multiple UK educational courses. I am an active instructor and a course director in the Resus council UK and The Royal College of Surgeons in addition to being active in research and postgraduate medical education. My other areas of interest are anaesthesia for ENT surgery, ophthalmic anaestheisa, anaesthesia a for robotic surgery, simulation training, enhanced recovery after surgery and bringing Ultrasound-guided Regional Anesthesia to Emergency Medicine.
