About me

I am an experienced counselling psychologist and I have worked in a private inpatient CAMHS hospital for over 15 years. This has provided me with extensive experience working with adolescents and their families who have exceptionally complex difficulties including; anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, emerging personality disorders, OCD, complex trauma, neurodevelopmental and attachment difficulties.

I also have experience working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties and young children who have experienced trauma.

I am an integrative practitioner and draw on a wide range of approaches including psychodynamic, humanistic, behavioural and systemic. I am passionate about understanding each individual and their difficulties as unique and tailor the therapy I offer to their individual needs and goals.

I am trained in the following models of therapy; Psychodynamic, Narrative Therapy, Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT).
