About me
Dr Hannah Went is a Clinical Psychologist with over 13 years experience working in the NHS with adults with mental health difficulties. This has ranged from helping people with mild emotional distress, to individuals with highly complex and enduring difficulties, including working in inpatient services and working with addictions. She excels at building trusting and supportive therapeutic relationships through her honest but empathic approach to therapy.
Hannah has trained extensively in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness based approaches, Behaviour Family Therapy (BFT), and Schema Therapy.
Hannah is a registered Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist with the Health & Care Profession Council (PYL33439) and offers face to face therapy in Dundee and online across the UK.

She will also frequently incorporate schema therapy and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) into therapy for more longstanding or complex difficulties.
