About me

I am a qualified and accredited counsellor/Psychotherapist that has trained at Degree level, I have an established private practice and a full member of the BACP. I am also a qualified supervisor and offer my services supervising qualified and trainee counsellors.

I have 15 years' experience working with issues such as, panic disorders, Anxiety, feeling sad, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, sad syndrome, addiction, Anger issues, Relationship issues, affairs and betrayals, family issues, Bullying, domestic violence, bereavement, abuse, self-esteem/confidence etc. and work with all ages, cultures/sexuality/disabilities and gender, I also work with eating disorders and offer couple counselling and family therapy.

I believe change is possible, I am passionate in supporting others to reach their potential, building trust in the counselling relationship encourages risks to be taken to explore issues that are affecting quality of life, counselling enables exploration of behavior's and builds self-awareness, to enable a better quality of life, enhancing self-esteem and confidence.

Taking risks and reaching out asking for support can be difficult and at times we may all need support in exploring a difficult issue, it is a strength to access support not a weakness this enables the person to not feel alone in a difficult situation. You are always the expert of your own experiences, I am facilitating an environment of safety and with the right conditions present such as a non-judge mental attitude to support and encourage to empower self and autonomy, change is possible. I provide Humanistic counselling, however I am able to work with the individual, where other theories may be more appropriate, such as CBT. I am qualified in Holistic treatments such as Auricular Acupuncturist specialist and I have a Masters in Reiki, I am experienced and highly qualified in working with most issues, if I am unable to help you, I will direct you to the right place.

I also offer online and telephone counselling ,this enables everyone to reach out and access help if needed.
