About me

Dr Ben Davis has had over five years’ experience working with difficulties such as anxiety and depression in acute and community physical health services. This includes supporting both adults and children and working with health problems such as stroke, chronic pain, cystic fibrosis, cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic physical injury.

Dr Davis has had additional experience in community mental health and learning disabilities residential services for children and young adults. Within these roles, he has further experience of neuropsychological assessment for those who may have Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Dr Davis has experience in working with a wide range of moderate to severe mental health difficulties including anxiety (e.g. obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, health anxiety, needle phobia/procedural anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD / BPD).

He is also employed in the NHS supporting NHS staff impacted by the COVID crisis working with mental health difficulties such as PTSD, anxiety and depression and occupational difficulties such as burnout.
