About me
My role as a therapist is to help people explore their problems working through them in a supportive way. The aim is always to help gain new understanding and help clients' move forwards.
This involves exploring current circumstances and feelings, as well as thinking about past events and how these might affect the present.
Working together openly and honestly we will explore our relationships with ourselves and others, considering how past experiences and current behaviours are potentially connected. Through insightful dialogue and reflection, I can help you unravel complex emotions, understand recurring patterns, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
I help clients address feelings of anxiety, depression or stress. These may be related to family, relationships, work, cultural or societal expectations, health, sexuality, identity and abuse. The aim is to develop greater self-awareness, self confidence and improved communication.
Mental Health encompasses our emotional, psychological and social well-being. Impacting how we act, feel and react, as well as the life choices we make.
Seeking help and support to overcome feelings and emotions is a big step and it can be helpful to have someone beside you on your journey. My goal as a Counsellor is to provide an open, compassionate environment, a safe place to talk.
