About me
Dr Wong is a Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology based at the Evelina London Children's Hospital which forms part of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. He is recongised both nationally and internationally for his work in cardiac MRI.
He trained at Cambridge University and completed a PhD at Kings College London. His post-graduate training was in London and Japan.
Dr Wong is able to provide care for the whole spectrum of congential heart disease from newborns through to adolescents and young adults. He provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient care and additionally has areas of expertise in the application of cardiac MRI and cardiac CT to understanding heart disease in young people.
His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of:
- heart murmurs
- congenital heart disease
- arrhythmias and palpitations
- Kawaskai disease and coronary disease
-use of additional imaging for planning and diagnosing heart conditions
- close links with cardiac surgeons and interventional cardiology
He has excellent feedback forom patients and colleagues.
