About me

In a nutshell I am a highly skilled psychotherapist who is passionate about bringing therapy to life.
My strengths are my creativity and my ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to make them meaningful for people.

I'm especially passionate about helping people to thrive not just survive. I'm interested in the cross-over between midlife/perimenopause/menopause and burn-out and how we can support our own and each others' well-being as we navigate periods of change.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). These are all evidence-based therapies, meaning that lots of research studies have demonstrated their effectiveness. You'll find these therapies recommended in NICE guidelines for the treatment of depression, anxiety, long term conditions, pain management, to name a few.

I'm BABCP accredited
I have a PG Dip in Advanced Practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from King's College London.
I've worked as a CBT therapist and Clinical Supervisor in the NHS as well as private health companies and in private practice.
