About me

Dr Kuven Moodley is a Consultant Neurologist with expertise in general and acute neurology, cognitive neurology and dementia, and disorders of cerebrospinal fluid pressure and circulation. He has been a substantive NHS Consultant Neurologist at St George's Hospital since 2016 and sees private patients at OneWelbeck, Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital and Spire St Anthony's Hospital.

He assesses adults with a broad range of neurological symptoms, including headache and migraine, dizziness and balance problems, gait difficulties, numbness and tingling, weakness, tremor, memory problems, and cognitive changes.

Dr Moodley has particular clinical interests in cognitive neurology and dementia, including mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease and cognitive symptoms following acquired brain injury, and in cerebrospinal fluid and intracranial pressure disorders, including spontaneous intracranial hypotension, CSF leak syndromes, intracranial hypertension, normal pressure hydrocephalus and other disorders of CSF circulation.

His approach is practical and patient-centred. He aims to provide a focused neurological assessment, a clear explanation of the likely causes of symptoms and investigation results, and an agreed plan for further investigation and treatment.
