About me
I am a member of the Breast Imaging Team of UHDB providing symptomatic and breast screening services for the population of South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. Covering One-Stop Symptomatic Clinics, Screening Assessment Clinics and performing various interventional breast procedures. Conventional breast imaging (mammogram, ultrasound) digital breast tomosynthesis (breast MRI). My experience in breast interventions include ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration and core biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, preoperative wire localisation with ultrasound or X-ray guidance, vacuum assisted biopsies and excisions and MRI guided biopsy. Breast Clinics/Screening Assessments and screen reading/ Breast MRI reporting; reporting staging CT scans for breast patients. I present and discuss cases regularly at the Breast MDT and participate in various departmental meetings, managerial or educational, in the Breast Unit and in the Main X-ray Department. I was recently appointed as deputy Breast Screening Director at the South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire Breast Screening.
My teaching role involves undergraduate teaching in Clinics or acting as supervisor for senior Trainees.
