About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist working online (March 2026) while I change the location for in-person sessions. I offer therapy for adults who may be outwardly coping while carrying private struggles. The people I have worked with are often thoughtful and capable, and have learned to keep on going while shouldering difficult experiences, self-criticism, or a quiet sense of failure. I am experienced in working with OCD, trauma, depressions, and experiences of isolation or anxiety in relationships.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel exposing. I aim to provide a space that feels safe, respectful and unhurried. My way of working is grounded in careful listening: I would prefer to understand what life is like for you, rather than offering quick solutions.

I draw on both CBT and psychodynamic approaches and tailor therapy to your needs. We might focus on a specific difficulty through a more structured, time-limited approach. Or we may work more reflectively to explore patterns, emotional responses, and the impact of earlier experiences on current relationships.

Together, we can build understanding, cultivate compassion, and work towards changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

I worked in the NHS for ten years as both a therapist and manager. I have experience supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process - one in which you don't need to have the right words straight away. We can take that step by step, at a pace that feels right for you.
