About me
Professor Janice Rymer is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King’s College London. She has served on the RCOG’s Council for 12 years and for the last six was the International Fellow for Australasia, the Pacific Rim and the Americas. She has also been involved in the RCOG’s education, CPD, recruitment, examinations and global health work.
She is in active clinical practice and runs a research group as well as being Dean of Student Affairs at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine. She also works for the General Medical Council assessing medical schools and postgraduate training.
Her areas of clinical interest include minimal access surgery, ovarian failure, and medical education. Her publications comprise over 140 peer-reviewed papers and 14 textbooks.
