About me

"Take time out to listen to yourself" To question, to reflect and hear those difficult things that we may not be able to admit to ourselves or want to hear so they get lost in the rush of everyday life.
Counselling provides a space to do this without fear of judgement and ask only that you be yourself.

My name is Lenore and I am a MBACP Registered (Accredited) Integrative Counsellor. This means I was trained to use different models tailored to suit the individual as I do not believe that one model suits everyone.

I was trained at the University of East London and qualified in 1999 . I have worked in education as a lecturer in Counselling skills and Personal Development. I have the knowledge and skills to know that people people learn in different ways and at a different pace.

I have worked within the field of disability, substance misuse, learning difficulty, children with behavioural and communication problems.
and mental health with people of different ages and cultural background.

I have a wealth of life experience and I am able to empathise on an experiential level.

Beside my Practice, I work as an affiliate Counsellor for several EAP (Employee Assistant Providers) Some of my clients also comes from recommendations. I offer a confidential service and I aim to work with you in a creative and sensitive manner that will enable you to explore, to make sense of things, gain a different perspective and develop a deeper awareness and understanding of self.

I do not give advice, but will work with you to help you to explore and find your own answers and make your own adult decisions.

I am also a Clinical Supervisor and provide supervision to qualified counsellors and trainee counsellors in placements.

I abide by the BACP Ethical Guidelines for good Practice. I am sensitive to the individual cultural and ethical background, to their religious beliefs and respect these as essentially, an important part of who they are.
