About me

I am an experienced Chartered Counselling Psychologist & Psychotherapist with a specialism in early trauma and eating disorders (I am co-founder of Beat, the UK National Charity). It is my belief that eating disorders are so much more than the 'symptoms', they signal a deeper anxiety, one of seeking some kind of control when your inner world feels out of control. Perhaps you are experiencing feelings of intolerable anxiety, low self-esteem and self-worth; of loneliness yet being with others is depleting. Working together, I really want to get to know you and, from a safe, confidential space provide an environment that will enable you to explore what seems to be getting in the way from you being more connected to and secure with yourself and your relationships around you.
