Practising general and colorectal surgery as a Consultant since 1999 at Good Hope Hospital and Spire Little Aston Hospital.
Broad experience in all aspects of general and colorectal surgery.
Main interest Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery to remove early rectal cancers and large polyps of the rectum. Lead clinician for early rectal cancer for the Birmingham wide cancer network. Actively involved in running trials for organ preservation.
Established laparoscopic colorectal surgery at Good Hope Hospital.
Performing around 60 laparoscopic cholecystectomies per year.
