About me

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist in Leeds, West Yorkshire with 25 years experience as a doctor, and over 15 years' experience as a consultant.

My substantive post is with Cygnet Healthcare, where I work as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Director for an inpatient rehabilitation service.

I can provide private psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations for mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, PTSD, alcohol/substance misuse and psychosis.

I am also experienced in preparing medico-legal psychiatric reports for the courts.

I was educated at Repton School, Derbyshire, before graduating in medicine from the University of Bristol. I completed Basic and HIgher Specialist Training in psychiatry in Birmingham and Leeds, and have worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Yorkshire since 2008.
