About me

I completed my Urological higher training in the North West deanery (Mersey) and been a consultant in North Wales since 2019 (Wrexham Maelor Hospital [NHS] and the Spire Yale Hospital [Private Practice]). I am the clinical audit and governance lead for Wrexham Maelor Urology Department, member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, Welsh Urology Society, GMC recognised trainer, and departmental educational lead for Urology in Wrexham.

I believe in empowering people with detailed knowledge of their condition to allow a better understanding of the treatment choices available. Urology is constantly at the fore-front of emerging surgical technologies. I take great pride in keeping myself up-to-date and introducing new treatments that are increasingly minimally-invasive yet maximally effective.

Areas of interest

I provide a thorough assessment and treatment for all general urological conditions (blood in the urine including endoscopic bladder cancer/stones treatment, foreskin abnormalities in adults and children, urinary symptoms, scrotal swelling - hydrocele/epididymal cysts/cancerous pathologies, prostate biopsies). I also have a specialist interest in andrology (vasectomy, erectile dysfunction, penile curvature/Peyronie's disease) and urine incontinence management (including performing urodynamics, insertion of artifical urinary sphincters for men, mid-urethral bulking and autologous rectus fascial sling insertion for women).

I see all age groups from 16 years upwards. For tight foreskin and testicular problems (e.g. undescended testes), I review boys aged 5 and older.
