About me

I am a Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I completed my BSc in Psychology at Goldsmiths College, University of London and my Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of East London.

My professional experience includes the provision of tailored interventions within private practice as well as work within the NHS and community settings. I work with adults with common emotional concerns; relationship and interpersonal difficulties; as well as with those with more complex needs and presentations.

I provide evidence based psychological therapy and am able to integrate ideas from a variety of models to flexibly meet the needs of clients. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Psychodynamic therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness. I am trained to deliver Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective treatment for trauma presentations and related difficulties.
