About me
I have been practicing complex upper limb surgery since 1997 and established the shoulder and elbow service in Aberdeen. Originally this was a single-handed practice but during the past 20 years I have been joined by 4 other surgeons. I have maintained a broad repertoire of operations for, Shoulder/Shoulder Girdle, Elbow, Hand, Wrist, and Forearm disorders and injuries, that include arthroscopic and open surgery, and joint replacement surgery.
I undertake a lot of research that is in keeping with my clinical interests and is recognised internationally.
I am also involved with commercialisation of my research through the NHS and the University of Aberdeen.
