About me
Dr Pooja Gulati is a Consultant Rheumatologist renown for her exceptional patient-centered care and extensive expertise in managing a wide spectrum of Rheumatological conditions. She works privately at the Lister Hospital (consults at 280 Kings Road), with an NHS base at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust.
She is caring and compassionate and adopts a holistic, evidence-based approach to all patients.
Dr Gulati has expertise in a range of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis, joint and soft tissue injections, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and sarcoidosis.
Dr Gulati gained her medical degree in 2004 from the University of Birmingham. She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008. Her postgraduate training in Rheumatology and General Medicine was extensive - this was undertaken across north and west London at a combination of extremely busy district-general and world-renowned teaching hospitals. She gained her MRCP in Rheumatology in 2013 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2020. In addition she holds a PG Diploma in Clinical Education awarded from UCL in 2019.
Dr Gulati has an active teaching role at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She was the undergraduate lead for Rheumatology teaching. She regularly delivers lectures and small group teaching sessions to undergraduate medical students and postgraduate doctors. She also supervises and mentors junior doctors at all stages of their training within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She is an academic tutor for Imperial College London.
