Life has its ups and downs and doesn't tend to go in a straight line. Stress, worries and low mood can get in the way of making the most of your precious time and can disrupt connections with those you care about. The past may cloud the present; there may be cycles from which you cannot break free. Perhaps you would like to explore with me how to overcome your mental health issues and improve your mental wellbeing within psychological therapy? Please consider if you want to walk with me on your therapeutic journey.
I am a kind and caring person; I love my job, and for many years have been offering psychological therapies. I qualified as a clinical psychologist from the University of London (UCL) in 2004 and am now a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Community Adult Mental Health. I became fully accredited with the BABCP in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in 2012 as a therapist, and then in 2021 as a supervisor. I recently completed a Postgraduate certificate in Enhanced CBT (Supervision and Training) with the University of Oxford. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society; I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
