About me

I am a consultant bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and gastroenterologist. My practice is in Hertfordshire and north London. I have specialist interests in advanced colonoscopy, with a focus on identifying and treating early bowel cancers.

I am a nationally accredited colonoscopist for the UK's Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. I am also a specialist in the management of a broad range of conditions, including heartburn, reflux, abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.

I perform hundreds of endoscopic procedures each year, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, wireless capsule endoscopy, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy.

I qualified at the University of Cambridge and University College London, graduating with Distinction in Clinical Practice. I hold a PhD in the organisational delivery of medical care, from Imperial College London. My academic work includes papers in some of the world's leading medical journals, including the BMJ and JAMA Internal Medicine.
