About me

Hello there, and welcome to my profile. My name is Suzanne and I am a fully qualified and chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am also an accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and a qualified mindfulness practitioner.

I have many years of experience working for the NHS and private sector with adult clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties, such as depression or low mood, grief and bereavement, low self-esteem, stress, worry, panic attacks, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences and difficulties stemming back to childhood.

I am trained to draw on one form of therapy or integrate different approaches depending on what best suits you, such as person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, narrative exposure therapy (NET) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).

I specialise in offering online therapy (via video, voice or telephone, live text-based chat, and email) as I feel passionate about increasing access to talking therapy regardless of one's circumstances or where they may be located, and have received specific training in online therapy and providing digital clinical supervision.

My aim in therapy is to provide a safe space in which to collaboratively explore and understand your difficulties. I have a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental style, and my approach aims to tailor the sessions according to your individual needs as we work together as a team to improve the quality of your life and achieve your goals.

Should you feel that I may be the right therapist for you, you are most welcome to reach out and get in contact.
