Hello, Welcome to Aberdeen Reflection Counselling
I am Nic, an Accredited Person-Centred Counsellor with 17 years of experience. I specialise in working with people who are stress, depressed, struggles with their anxiety, coping to manage their anger and work-related issues.
In my 25 years’ of working in various sectors I understand the emotional and psychological impact of an individual. Wither it is personal or professional I know how it can affect the way we think and function. Poor mental health can contribute to poor physical health and it does not matter from what social background you are from it can affect anyone of us.
Areas of interest
Anger: I have work with people with anger issues. I help them to understand their anger, where is it comes from, enabling the client to aware of their feelings and emotions, to support and regain back control.
Anxiety: My clients often say they have regular palpation, they feel very anxious. Their mental health is affecting their physical health. I will support you reflect on things you may have suppressed to find the cause.
Depression: My clients when they first start, often say they feel no purpose in life. They often have low opinions of themselves.
I have helped many people at their lowest point to rediscover themselves, to understand the what, the why, and the how-to be happy.
Working offshore: I am an experienced counsellor working offshore. I talk to people about their problems onshore and how it affects them offshore. I know it can be difficult to talk when it is still not the norm. I know just starting to talking about your problems is a positive direction.
