About me
Life consists of many transitions, whether it is a change in a relationship, moving from school to university, changes in employment, having a child or adapting to a new country or cultural lifestyle. These transitions impact on our identity and make us question who we are. We may feel anxious or uneasy, yearn for our past or struggle to know how to act.
No issue is too big or too small, the issue is how you are feeling and knowing you want to change this.
The therapeutic relationship is key to helping change evolve and I believe that working together we can explore your experiences and work through the difficulties you are facing. Offering empathy, a non judgmental approach and confidentiality, my aim is for you to feel able to explore your issues in a safe and containing environment.
As individuals, I understand we all have different needs and requirements. By drawing upon an integrative approach, your therapy is tailored to your needs. This includes drawing upon a variety of different therapeutic approaches to inform my practice, including psychodynamic, trauma informed, humanistic, mindfulness-based therapy, compassionate focused therapy, cognitive-analytic therapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy. In addition, I am an accredited practitioner in EMDR.
