About me
An appreciation of the importance of ones hands in everyday life and a fascination in the complex anatomy of the hand, led to my interest in hand surgery. I specialise in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery including non operative management of hand conditions.
The opportunity to improve my patient’s quality of life by treating pain and improving function to enable the return to sport, work and daily activities gives me great satisfaction.
I graduated in Medicine in 2010 and completed my surgical training on the prestigious Edinburgh Orthopaedic training rotation. In 2019, I was selected to undertake an Orthoplastic Hand fellowship at the world renowned Wrightington upper limb unit. I undertook a further 6 months Hand and Wrist fellowship in the unit under internationally recognised hand surgeons before starting as a Consultant in York.
