About me

If you have been struggling with low mood or anxiety you do not have to struggle on alone. Therapy can help you begin to make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings, and help you develop positive coping strategies, enabling you to feel more confident and positive. The therapies I offer are

For the past 19 years I have been working within the field of mental health. My work is my passion and I have worked within the third sector, NHS and the private sector, I currently run my own private practice in Wilmslow.

The therapies I provide are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Compassionate Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy. These therapies are evidence based, this means that research concludes that they are effective treatments for a range of mental health difficulties.

It is a privilege to witness the clients I work with make sense of their symptoms and find alternative ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. My overarching aim is to ensure the people I work with feel safe, understood and confident in their own worth.
