About me
Mr Dincer Aktuerk is a leading consultant cardiothoracic surgeon specialising in robotic keyhole (minimally invasive) heart surgery. He is one of only two robotic cardiac surgeons in the UK.
Mr Aktuerk practices across major private hospitals in London, including the London Bridge Hospital and the Nuffield at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. He is the Lead for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at Barts Heart Centre, the largest cardiothoracic centre in the UK.
Mr Aktuerk has a wealth of experience and expertise in minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery, operations that bring patients from across the globe to benefit from his expertise. He has trained at some of the world's leading cardiothoracic units, including St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney and the Robert-Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany.
Mr Aktuerk works in close collaboration with a team of world-renowned Cardiologists and Cardiac Electrophysiologists across London and the UK providing seamless access to the best quality care that's tailored specifically for his patients.
