About me
I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional
Endoscopist at Queen's Hospital and the Digestive Diseases Centre (DDC) London.
I completed my undergraduate training from University College London Medical
School with distinction. My specialist training was in the London Deanery, including
University College and Royal London Hospital. During this time, I conducted research
on stomach disorders, Barrett's oesophagus and the treatment of early gastro-intestinal cancer.
I have over 15 years experience in Gastroenterology and General Medicine. I am a
nationally accredited Endoscopist(JAG).
I have undertaken prestigious Endoscopy Fellowships in Australia and Japan, gaining
advanced skills in therapeutic endoscopy including colonoscopy, luminal and bile
duct stenting, enteroscopy, tissue resection, polypectomy, ESD, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound.
I am passionate about delivering excellent patient care based on current guidelines
and best medical practice.
I enjoy teaching and training within Gastroenterology - I am the NE London Endoscopy Academy lead and Regional JAG Training Centre Lead. I act as faculty on national teaching courses. I am also Associate College Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians London.
I have multiple publications in peer-reviewed Gastroenterology journals and
regularly present my work at international conferences.
