About me
I was appointed Consultant Ophthalmologist to Darlington Memorial Hospital and The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton in 1998, having taken higher surgical training in Newcastle, Nottingham and Leeds.I obtained my Certificate of Completion of Higher Surgical Training in Ophthalmology in April 1997.
Just prior to my consultant appointment, I undertook a Fellowship in Corneal Surgery in Adelaide, Australia under the tutorship of Professor Coster. My interests include small incision phacoemulsification cataract surgery with astigmatism correcting and multifocal intraocular lenses.
