I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Dr Jas Singh's basic training included posts in accident and emergency, neurology, and plastic surgery in Glasgow.
He trained at Senior House Officer level at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Hospital, followed by Registrar training at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh. He subsequently became a Senior Registrar in Edinburgh and undertook further sub-specialty training in vitreo-retinal disorders there. Additional advanced training in vitreo-retinal surgery was completed at the Lions Eye Institute in Perth, Western Australia. Dr Singh was appointed as a Consultant in NHS Lothian in January 1998.
He has over 15 years of experience in private practice. Throughout his consultant career, Dr Singh has held several key roles, including Training Programme Director and Regional Advisor. He served as the Scottish Lead for Modernising Medical Careers, Lead Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and Chairman of the Training Committee at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was instrumental in reintroducing the FRCS Ed exam in Ophthalmology for international graduates and in establishing new international exam centres.
Dr Singh has also been a member of the Training Committee of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. With substantial management experience, he currently serves as the Clinical Director for Ophthalmology at NHS Lothian.
