About me

I am an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Division of Clinical Psychology of the British Psychological Society. I have completed my training at the Institute of Education at University College London and the National University of Ireland, Galway and have been working in the Health Services for more than 18 years.

I have extensive experience working with adults with complex and enduring mental health problems including depression, trauma, anxiety disorders, OCD and interpersonal functioning difficulties.

Extensive experience with Adult ADHD Assessment: I have a wide range of experience in assessing Adult ADHD. Additionally, I have received training from UKAAN and from US ADHD Clinical Services Provider.

I have received postgraduate training in the application of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have also received further specialist training in EMDR and Schema Therapy and more recently, in mindfulness-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
In clinical practice, I adopt an integrative and flexible approach to tailor the psychological intervention to the clients particular needs and therapy goals. I am committed to providing therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment and works with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
