About me
Mr Ravinder Pabla qualified with distinctions in both Medicine and Dentistry from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London. After training posts at renowned institutions across the country in dentistry, medicine (including respiratory medicine, anaesthesia and intensive care) and surgery (including oral and maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, and ENT surgery), he undertook specialist training at Northwick Park Hospital, University College London Hospital, Eastman Dental Institute, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and the Royal London Hospital. Following qualification as a specialist, Mr Pabla took the opportunity to work with international facial deformity experts on a sought-after fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Australia.
Upon appointment as a consultant, he took on additional responsibilities as departmental lead for head and neck skin cancer surgery and is a core member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He works collaboratively with a range of other specialists to maximise the care and options for each patient. Mr Pabla is dedicated to raising standards and levels of patient satisfaction to reduce the likelihood of recurrent problems by overseeing his department’s complaints process. As a respected and senior clinician, he has now also been appointed as Lead Clinician.
Mr Pabla is dedicated to training students and colleagues. He is an undergraduate examiner at the University of London’s University College London Medical School; a postgraduate examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons of England; and an approved educational supervisor for qualified dentists and doctors receiving further training. He is active in contributing to medical development with an array of published articles in peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, poster and oral presentations at medical conferences and meetings in the UK and overseas.
