About me
I trained in Gastroenterology as a registrar at the Royal Free Hospital and completed an MD thesis there in aspects of the Epidemiology of Crohn's disease. I then moved to the north-east to complete my training as a Senior Registrar and was appointed as a consultant Gastroenterologist in 1998. My particular interests have been in the treatement of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, performing endoscopies of the upper and lower Gastrintestinal tract and in developing a regional nutrition service for patients who require nutrition given via a vein - Parenteral nutrition.
