About me
Mr Quarmby qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1987. His surgical training in general surgery was based in the London teaching hospitals and South West Thames.
Training as a General Surgeon, his major subspecialty interest has been vascular surgery and minor subspecialty interest paediatric surgery.
Mr Quarmby was appointed to Derby Hospitals in 2002. He is also the Vascular Surgical lead representing Derby for the organisation of vascular services within Derbyshire. He is the Clinical Director of the Derbyshire County Aneurysm Screening Programme as part of the National Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme.
Mr Quarmby is happy to see patients with arterial and venous disease, varicose veins, hyperhydrosis, thoracic outlet compression syndrome, mesenteric ischemia and general surgical conditions including abdominal hernias, lumps and bumps, ingrowing toenails.
