About me
Professor Simon Redwood is professor of interventional cardiology and honorary consultant cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
He is also Past President of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) and a recognised Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI)
Simon has been performing percutaneous coronary intervention for over 25 years. He also runs an active research team, has raised over ÂŁ12m in grant funding and has supervised over 18 MD and PhD theses.
In 2023, he was the recipient of the Tony Gershlick Lifetime Achievement Award from BCIS.
