About me
I am a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in gastrointestinal surgery. I have subspecialty interests in complex benign upper gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary surgery and weight loss (bariatric surgery).
I trained in Northern Ireland with subspecialty fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Sydney, Australia. There and since I have developed advanced laparoscopic skills in surgery for hernia, gallstones, hiatus hernia, anti-reflux surgery, achalasia and weight loss surgery.
I have practising privileges at the Ulster Independent Clinic and Kingsbridge Hospital, Belfast (Maypole Clinic, Holywood).
