About me

Mr Chris Nicolay is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, West Middlesex Hospital, OneWelbeck and The Lister Hospitals.

He was an undergraduate at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge and Imperial College London, qualifying in 2004. His research PhD was from Imperial College followed by higher surgical training on the North West London Rotation. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017 and completed the Royal College Senior Clinical Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at Frimley Park Hospital in 2019.

He has a specialist interest in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction and proctology (eg haemorrhoids, anal fissure, fistula-in-ano).
